CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION

At Ohio GI your health and safety are our highest priority.  We are closely monitoring and following the CDC and Governor DeWine’s recommendations.  For the safety of our patients and our staff we are taking precautions to identify patients who may have been exposed to or infected with coronavirus before they enter our healthcare facilities.  In addition to conducting screening during our scheduling process we have educated our Ohio GI staff regarding appropriate responses should they be presented with a suspected case of infection.

Importantly, if you develop symptoms such as fever (over 100.4), cough and shortness of breath (especially if you have recently traveled from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of coronavirus) you should call one of the numbers at the bottom of this notice and/or call your primary care physician to ask about hospital respiratory clinics.

In compliance with national and state regulations and recommendations all screening procedures are being canceled at this time.  We will reschedule all such procedures once this crisis has passed.  We have implemented telehealth capabilities to provide virtual office visits and consultations and we will still see patients in our offices for urgent needs.

Please follow all hand-washing, social distancing and other safety recommendations.
