Raja Chadalavada, MD
Dr. Raja Chadalavada provides a full range of services, with acute and chronic gastrointestinal (GI) and Liver diseases. He has advanced training in transplant hepatology as well.
Dr. Chadalavada served as Chief Resident at Mercer University, Macon, GA. He was also elected Best Intern and Best Resident during his years of training. He did his Gastroenterology Fellowship training in Metrohealth / Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine program and served as Chief Fellow. He did advanced training in Transplant hepatology from University of Pittsburgh. After Hepatology fellowship worked as faculty for one year at University of Pittsburgh. He has publications in national GI journals and keeps up to date with current clinical practice guidelines and innovations. His research has been presented at the American Transplant Congress meeting and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He has been published in highly respected journals such as The American Journal of Gastroenterology, American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, The American Journal of Medicine, and The Surgical Endoscopy Journal.
Dr. Chadalavada believes in educating and empowering patients, and encourages informed preventive care. Having a compassionate and caring physician can make a difference in taking care of simple, as well as complex, GI and hepatobiliary disorders. He is Board Cerified in Gastroenterology.
In his spare time, Dr. Chadalavada enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
